Get Healthy Foods And Snacks Added To Your Diet To Feel Better (Even If You’re Picky)

One of the hardest things for me is finding healthy snacks and foods because I am such a picky eater! Name a food and I probably won’t like it. Milk? No. Broccoli? Won’t touch it. Green Beans? Not eating them. Yogurt? Nope. Almost every healthy food you can think of, I don’t like. Problematic right? Yes, but I refused to make the realization.

Eventually, I got old enough to realize that I can’t completely cut vegetables and dairy out of my diet. There were so many nutrients contained in the foods that I didn’t like that my diet began to impact multiple aspects of my life. Injuries, sleep, how my body felt overall. It got to the point where I had to evaluate my eating habits. As I started to educate myself on eating healthy, I came to the realization of how important having a complete diet is and I had to find a solution. I started small and now I’ve slowly made my way to eating a handful of things I thought I’d never eat.

An easier way to start eating healthier is to take foods you already like and add some that you aren’t that fond of. For example, apple sauce. Apple sauce is one of my favorite foods. On the other hand, I don’t eat many (if any) vegetables at all. To make sure that I can get some vegetables in my diet I buy Go-Go Squeeze Apple Sauce. They taste just like normal apple sauce and the taste of the vegetables is basically non-existent. There are a handful of other ways to have a better diet too.

Ways to Eat Healthier Foods

  • Smoothies (add vegetables to your smoothies)
  • Protein shakes
  • Make some of your favorite foods healthier
  • Substitute certain foods with healthier options

Every time you eat is an opportunity to nourish your body.

It took me years to finally make a change in my diet and nourish my body. Hearing and finding ways to eat better is easy. Putting those tips into action is the hard part.
